Dr. Hegstrom received her PhD from the University of Kansas and later joined the Department of Spanish and Portguese in 1994. Her areas of interest include: Golden Age Comedia, Novella, Poetry, Spanish Theater Performance, Women Writers, and Feminist Theory.
