at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, USA offers a non-commercial educational cultural & linguistic resource for Spanish teachers at the secondary and college level.
The mission of HispaNet is to facilitate the teaching process by offering a range of activities, lesson plans and information related to the Spanish language. This web-site provides a portal of cultural information representing the 20 Hispanic nations.
Also it provides linguistic resources to be used in the classroom or at home. Furthermore, HispaNet provides the teacher a support and a contact with the teaching profession, enabling them to become a better educator in the Spanish teaching field.
This web-site will be updated and expanded on a regular basis.


Director of HispaNet
Baldomero Lago is currently an instructor at Brigham Young University. He teaches methodology courses and supervises the first year Spanish classes at BYU. He is a native of Spain and serves his country as the Honorary Consul for the State of Utah. He has taught at Bingham High School and Salt Lake Community college and has been involved in the teaching profession for the past 12 years.
