Biography
Speaking a second language has opened doors I never imagined. It has allowed me to connect with people and collaborate on meaningful projects. My bilingual journey did not exempt me from putting in the work, but I like puzzles, and Spanish was one I was willing to solve. With time and practice, I started putting the pieces together, and things began to make sense. The next big puzzle I'm working on is helping L2 learners solve their own language-learning puzzles. Some of the most memorable places I have traveled to include San Salvador, El Salvador; Antigua, Guatemala; and Italy.

What I like about BYU
I like being in an environment where people share similar beliefs and values. BYU continually challenges me to grow academically while learning lessons that extend beyond the classroom, and I can't wait to see how what I've learned will contribute to the communities I'm a part of in the future.
